QAMANIQ

"Qamaniq means Beam Of Light in Inupiat, which was the language spoken by the Malamute-Eskimos. He was named Qamaniq, because he has a white stripe down his mane and across his back.
When Qamaniq arrived at our house 8 weeks old he found his places around the house right away – first he found his sleeping place, next his daytime place (under the couch) and third his feeding place – even today these 3 spots are where he spent most of his time inside the house.
He never showed any signs of missing his pack – he never cried out as most puppies does now and then, probably because his grown up half-brother was here and gave him the confidence needed. From the very beginning Qamaniq showed his kindness, intelligence and independence. Even though Qamaniq was a pretty stubborn puppy he loves everything and everyone – is always kind and sweet towards people and other dogs. Qamaniq always seeks eye contact with people and other dogs, he is a very easy and obedient dog, he can be dominant when lower ranged dogs try to test him, but he will never start a fight. He does not show much instinct for hunting, but he loves to chase and play with cattles."
