QANNIQ

"Qanniq means Snowflake in Inupiat, which was the language spoken by the Malamute-Eskimos. She was named Qanniq, because she has two small white spots – one on her forehead and one on the bridge of her nose.
"Qanniq is an Alaskan Malamute bitch approximately 1_-year old – quiet, safe, secure and very social – she loves to be among people as well know as unkown ! She is always wagging her tail and becomes very happy when people arrive at our house. Meeting other dogs never turns out to be a problem – on the contrary; she always plays with as well small as larger dogs – she is in no way high ranging.
We also have another breed "Bichon Frisé" and from our puppies are around 4 weeks Qanniq works as their Nanny and she is doing a great job with the puppies.
It was our intention to start training Qanniq for pulling, but due to unforeseen circumstances we have not yet been able to get started, but we believe that we will start her training during the autumn of 2005."

May 2005 – "Qanniq" described by Christer (owner).
