DINTY

"Dinty is our first Alaskan Malamute. She is our alpha-bitch and a real empress. Proud, dignified, intelligent, very social and friendly. She is a real "Mamma" – loves all kiddies and she never gets enough. She still loves her now 3,5 year and 1,5 year old puppies, and she gets very happy when they all come together at our house. Everything she does is done with love even when she reprimands her puppies – sometimes you hardly notice her reprimands, but her puppies react promptly.
Dinty is close to 10 years old and is no longer going on our team, but when she was younger she really enjoyed going on the team. Over the last years she has become way more convenient. She has always had – and still have – a very strong instinct for hunting all kind of smaller animals and therefore we never really managed to walk her without leash and now she has come to the point where cats, rabbits and other small animals have become too fast for her.
Dinty never really liked attending dog shows, to her it was a necessary evil, but even tough she has obtained 2 certificates and lots of first prices and quality certificates as well as she has become Best Of Breed and Best Of Opposite Sex several times.
Still at almost 10 years of age Dinty is very pretty and still very playful when she is toddling around on her small tiny feet. She also loves the sun, she can spent hours relaxing in direct sun as long as she can find shadow for 10-15 minutes now and then. And the couch is her absolute favourite place – her throne.
Since Dinty was our first malamute she was given an Eskimo name – Dinty means Black dog. All her puppies were also given Eskimo names.
